I have always been one for comedy, tall-tales, and low-country magic– the kind that lies in a hot bowl of grits. I'm a LA- and South Carolina-based writer, filmmaker, and artist who has always celebrated the weirdos, being one myself– queer, HIV-Positive, and disabled. A core driving force for my work is prioritizing the narratives found in underserved communities, often telling harsh truths with fantastical flair.
